The month of… Quinn Sibeijn

Quinn Sibeijn has been working for WUA! since 2015. As a project manager she is responsible for sales support, research planning, marketing campaigns, and much, much more!

Today is March 17th. How was February?
“February was great! A lot happened and a lot changed. A new way of working with new roles I took on, such as campaign management. This meant it was very busy at times, but that also made it very exciting. I was also very happy because of Carnival, which was during the first week of February this year.”

Why did you start working for WUA!?
“I think the company and what we’re doing is really awesome! I can also really relate to the corporate culture and values, and I think the way everyone treats each other is very special. Everyone is working really hard, but there is always a nice and positive atmosphere. These factors persuaded me to stay with WUA! for a long period of time: I want to be a part of this!”

What can we wake you up for in the morning?
“A room full of great people.”

What is your favourite place in the world?
“I haven’t seen everything, of course, but I really loved Australia – Fraser Island in particular! Lovely weather, very friendly people, and a relaxed atmosphere. I also thought Canada was very special. Okay… I can’t choose.”

You have to choose: Having to brush your teeth with steak tartare every day for the rest of your life, or sleeping in a bed full of cheese and onion crisps. Why?
“This is almost like you’re asking me if I’d like a million put into my bank account without having to do anything for it. I’m a bit addicted to crisps. So I wouldn’t say no to a bed full of cheese and onion crisps, delicious!”

What do you like most about working for WUA!?
“First of all, I really like the things I have to do. Especially now with the combination of various key responsibilities per sector, the work is really varied. A lot of contact with customers, but also colleagues, to coordinate everything, and cool projects I will be taking on together with Sanne. WUA! offers a lot of possibilities. On top of that, the office feels like home to me. I get on well with everyone, and I’m getting a lot of energy from the people around me. In fact, I’m always in the office with a smile on my face!”

If you could bring three things to a uninhabited island, what would you bring?
“A bucket of Zaanse mayonnaise, music, and a good friend (is that allowed? I get bored easily on my own).”

Are you like your friends?
“Yes, I think we’re quite alike in some way. We all have some masculine traits at times, we all love to party, and we’re very impulsive which means we do random things and end up in cool places.”

When was the last time you cried?
“That must have been my sweet grandma’s cremation.”

What book is on your bedside cabinet?
“My remote control. I watch a lot of series and films when I’m in bed. I read on the plane. I know it’s bad, but I‘m not that keen on reading.”

What’s your motto in life?
“Everything will turn out fine.”

What’s the worst thing you’ve done after a Christmas party?
“Walked to FEBO on the Leidseplein in my socks to get a cheese soufflé and a bamischijf.”
