To continue to build this benchmark and to continue to grow as a company,as well as to stay on top of fast-changing consumer behavior, we have
made some major improvements in the last year. For example: we renewed our questionnaires, we improved and updated our model, we critically reviewed
the software that we use, and the data of the quality has significantly improved.

A Peek Inside

The online world is constantly and rapidly changing. WUA began to map the online customer journey back in 2008. Since then, the average website has improved drammatically. The consumer has also changed; they have become more digitally agile and have higher expectations of websites.

Together with the new questionnaire, we also renewed the Web Performance Model. This leaves room for not one, but three rankings (if the study is performed on desktop and smartphone). The new overall scores are called the Digital CX Score and the Digital Sales Score. Here, we explain the ingredients of the Digital Sales Score.

With our Digital Sales Scan, we map out markets using hundreds of respondents, both on performance and on digital experience. In the graph below you see Findability, Preference, and Conversion at work. At WUA, we call this the ‘Bubble Chart’.
